This beautiful proposal is at the top of my books. I was so excited to post this session the moment I photographed the love between these two.
I have been hanging onto this session since 2022. Out of respect for Sagar + Ronak they were not ready to share their love with social media out of privacy and family members not being accepting/ not even knowing.
My opinion on that: love is love and its beautiful no matter what.
So I hung onto this sadly just hoping one day that I would get a text telling me it was okay to share their love, because all love should be shared, it should never be a secret!
And two years later I got that text. "We just got married!" I'm so incredibly happy for these two love birds, and I finally get to share all of this art I made with their love.
My question of course was has your family accepted you and the answer unfortunately was "no, my family in India does not know" but with an incredible follow up of, "somehow I feel more free now than I was before when we met you. I have found love and acceptance within me and around me."
I'm not crying you are crying..
and with that.. I now present Sagar + Ronak in Maui representing the LGBTQ community and a beautiful representation of love at that!
